
Izly is a service that enables you to instantly pay from your electronic money account.
Electronic money can be defined as monetary value stored electronically on a device (for example, a smart card, magnetic stripe card, feature integrated into a mobile phone etc.) or on the internet.
Electronic money is issued on receipt of funds (cash, transfer, card operation...) in an amount not less in value than the monetary value received.
Izly service is available to students and teaching and administrative staff of CROUS. The eligibility to use the service is determined by a teaching institution attached to CROUS.
For all users registered with CROUS (see above): Izly is available to all individuals who:
- are over 16 years old upon activation,:
- are citizens of the EEA (European Union Area consisting of the 27 members of the European Union plus Liechtenstein, Iceland and Norway),:
-have a euro bank account in a bank established in the EEA.
No, you don’t. You can open an Izly account, if you have a bank account in any bank as long as it operates in the EEA (European Economic Area).
The application can be downloaded for free from Google Play Store, APP Store and Microsoft Store.
To be able to use the Izly mobile application, you need to have a Smartphone with an Internet connection; the minimum versions required for an iPhone are Android 2.2 / Windows Phone 8 / iOS 7.0. Phones need to be equipped with a 3G connection.
To use Izly from your personal area of the Izly website, you need to log in from your laptop or tablet connected to the Internet using one of the following browsers:
- - Safari (all versions),
- - Opera (all versions)
- - Chrome (all versions)
- - Firefox (all versions)
- - Internet Explorer 8 (IE 8) and later versions.
You have an iPhone:
On the home screen, press «Settings» and select the «General» menu and next «Information».
Your iOS version is indicated in this menu.
OS updates are available in the «General» menu.
You have an Android Smartphone:
On the home screen of your smartphone, press «Settings» and select «About».
Your Android Version is indicated in this menu.
OS updates are available also in this menu.
You have a Microsoft Smartphone:
On the home screen of your Smartphone, press the «Settings» icon and select the «About» menu.
The Windows Phone Version is indicated in this menu.
System updates are available in the «Telephone updates» menu.
You use a web browser:
Versions of web browsers are available in the «About..» section of your browser.
The use of the service is entirely free for students and teaching and administrative staff of the CROUS *.
Transactions are commission-free (sending and receiving money, adding funds to account, transfers to your bank, payments by professionals..) and there is no subscription required to use of the service.
This mobile application can be downloaded for free.
*This does not include Internet access costs billed by your provider or your mobile phone operator and the management fee of three euros charged when your account is inactive for 18 months.
You should be registered by CROUS as a person authorised to use the Izly service. You will receive an activation e-mail allowing you to confirm your Izly registration and containing your temporary secret code.
From the e-mail «Activating your Izly account»:
Click on the link provided in the e-mail.
Enter your temporary secret code and complete the registration form.
Confirm your registration by entering your secret code sent by SMS or e-mail.
Once the registration is validated, you can start navigating on Izly.
From your Izly application on your Smartphone :
Press the «Activate my account» button.
Enter your mobile phone number or your e-mail address provided by CROUS as well as the temporary secret code included in the activation e-mail and complete the registration form.
Confirm your registration by entering the secret code sent by SMS or e-mail.
Once the registration is validated, you can start navigating on Izly.
Your CROUS should register you with the Izly service. Therefore, you are going to receive an e-mail confirming your registration with Izly and containing your temporary secret code.
From your e-mail «Izly account activation»:
Click on the link sent in the e-mail, you will be redirected to the registration form.
Check the box «I refuse to register for the Izly service» at the bottom of the page, under the «Validate » button.
Deactivation confirmation window appears.
Confirm your choice. Your account is deactivated.
You can reactivate your account by sending a request to your CROUS
From your Izly application on your Smartphone :
Click on the button «Activate my account».
Provide your mobile phone number as well as a temporary secret code sent in the activation e-mail.
Check the box «I refuse to register for the Izly service» at the bottom of the page under the «Validate» button.
The deactivation confirmation window appears.
Confirm your choice. Your account is deactivated.
You can reactivate your account by sending a request to your CROUS
We suggest that you check your spam folder. If you still can’t find your activation e-mail, contact your CROUS
